Hey, It’s Maggie!

Let me tell you about myself so you can get to know me a little bit better.

I’m a lifelong Madrid native but I’ve always been a bit of a globetrotter. I left to England when I was 21 as a self-starter. I moved then to the Netherlands for another year after that, and I’ve spent seven years of my life living in Barcelona.

One day, I traveled to Canada to develop a project and I ended up staying! Oopsie! I’ve been living between Toronto and Madrid since Feb 2023 🦫

My professional journey to date has been as follows:

I graduated in Media Communication at Universidad Complutense de Madrid, and I soon realized that Marketing & Advertising was my thing. So I finished my studies and paired them up with courses in Advertising Psychology as well as graduating from the Master in Online Marketing & Advertising strategies at IM Business School in Barcelona. I've also studied Professional Sales and Customer Behaviour at ILAC International College in Toronto, Canada.
In 2012, I started practicing this inquisitive and exciting profession, working at publishing houses, press offices, communication agencies, etc. In 2016, I decided to start my own remote agency called Social Maggie, where I offer Marketing, Advertising and Strategy services. And here I am today!
I’ve worked on over 150 different projects: Startups, Pymes, big businesses and venture projects in sectors such as education, healthcare, pharma, tourism, languages, toys, fashion, and more.
I play ice-hockey, teach Pilates, enjoy anime, singing, and pop music. I also eat a lot of broccoli, Caesar’s salad, and sweets. My drink of choice is sparkling water or a very cold soda pop.

I sometimes work on my own but I also manage a team, it all depends on the project. I have a flexible and remote team who I have blindly trusted for years, and continue to do so. Together, we get very diverse projects off the ground. And that is how we are more productive, creative, and profitable for our clients, to whom I’m eternally grateful for their trust. ♡

Fun fact about me: despite being dedicated and living off of ✨ this digital world ✨, I also teach about digital education and spread awareness about the precautions that need to be taken into consideration when interacting with technology (especially minors).

Aditionally, I participate in projects at various Spanish universities that research the effects of digital technology on development.
